I have been hearing about the speech Mitt Romney gave in Manchester, New Hampshire, after winning GOP primary contests in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Rhode Island, Connecticut and New York. The reports I had been receiving said it was a good speech, so I thought it would be good to share it here. Mitt Romney is definitely turning his attention away from any possible challenge from his GOP opponents and is focusing on Barack Obama. Let me know what you think. Is Romney ready to take on the political machine that is the Obama campaign? To be sure, it isn’t going to be a fair fight.

In any election cycle, there is something to be said about fair play. Even if we disagree with one another’s positions, can we not all agree to be fair minded? It may seem strange for me to be focusing on the U.S. Senate race in Delaware, but there is something about this race that strikes a chord with me. Tea Party heads to November

Christine O'Donnell

Most notable of those surprises has to be the decisive defeat of Delaware’s Mike Castle by Tea Party and Sarah Palin endorsed Christine O’Donnell. Even though Castle was considered a shoo-in Republican candidate for the United States Senate and had the full backing of the Republican Party, that wasn’t enough to defeat O’Donnell. From all appearances, it looks like she will still have to fight the Republican Party, even after defeating Castle. In other words, they aren’t happy she won this race.

Delaware doctor indicted for child sexual abuse

As I browse the news stories every morning, there are a lot of different things that catch my eye. Strange or odd and unusual stories peak my interest and of course, anything to do with politics. This morning however, it is the depravity of mankind that has drawn my fingers to the keyboard. In the case of Dr. Earl Bradley and his alleged sexual abuse of 103 children over the course of 11 years, it is depravity of the worst kind. I suppose a disclaimer may be in order, as I will probably come across as my words may come across as harsh. There are a few things in this world that I have zero tolerance for and child abuse of any kind is right → Read More
