No mention of Huckabee, again
September 30, 2007 by LD Jackson · Leave a Comment
I just received an article from the Iowa Independent via a RSS feed. They are alluding to the fact the GOP may be splitting over Rudy Giuliani and they reference an article in Salon that talks about the secret meeting of the CNP that was held in Salt Lake City over the weekend. I [...]
Newt Gingrich will stay out

I need to give a hat tip to Jeremy. He has let me know that Fox News has confirmed from two different sources that Gingrich will not seek the presidency. That is one less obstacle for Mike Huckabee to clear.
That’s my take!

PBS All-American Presidential Forums

PBS will be hosting a debate for the Republican Presidential candidates Thursday night, at 8:00 PM CST. It will be broadcast on your local PBS station and can also be viewed online. It is interesting, once again, that the so called front runners or top-tier candidates have chosen not to take part, citing scheduling [...]
You and I decide whom we will support
September 24, 2007 by LD Jackson · Leave a Comment
Reading through some of the comments on the guest blogs for Vertical Day, I am very disturbed. There are some people who try to tell us we should support a candidate who has a chance to win. The way I look at it, we should make that decision on how the candidate stands on the [...]
I like Mike. Yes that’s Mike.
September 24, 2007 by LD Jackson · Leave a Comment
You know, I have noticed something tonight as I write a post and a comment on another blog, as well as read the Vertical Day articles on the Huckabee campaign website. More often than not, Mike Huckabee is referred to simply as Mike. Sitting here writing this, I can not think of a single time [...]

The Mike Huckabee campaign is giving us and the rest of America a chance to learn more about Mike. They are having what they call Vertical Day on their campaign website. There are a lot of guest bloggers, including Newt Gingrich. Visiting the website will give you a chance to learn more about Mike and [...]
Do you like Mike?

I came across this video on You Tube and it highlights just why I do like Mike Huckabee. He really stands out when it comes to informing the voters how he stands on the issues.  If you have viewed it before, take another look. If you haven’t, take time to watch [...]
Mike Huckabee and the issues
September 22, 2007 by LD Jackson · Leave a Comment
The Baptist Press has published an interview with Mike Huckabee, in which they asked him some very good questions about how he stands on the issues. You can read the two part interview here and here. I thought those two pages were some very good reading. You can also take a look at the Issues [...]
Bauer is disappointed? What about us?
September 21, 2007 by LD Jackson · Leave a Comment
Gary Bauer has came out and said he is disappointed with Dr. James Dobson’s email stating he would not support Fred Thompson. Dr. Dobson has some very real concerns about what Thompson does and does not stand for. As far as I am concerned, we are the ones who should be disappointed and it isn’t [...]
What is wrong with Mike Huckabee?
September 19, 2007 by LD Jackson · Leave a Comment
I suppose I just don’t understand what is wrong with Mike Huckabee. I have watched parts of some of the debates and all of the Values Voter Debate and I just can’t understand why some people seem to find anything they can to put him down. I have been reading some on the Sean Hannity [...]
