Wake up, Oklahoma–Vote for Huckabee

The day we have all looked forward to is finally here and Oklahomans get their chance to weigh in on the Presidential election, along with most of the rest of the nation. I believe we have a chance to make a difference in this election, by voting for the candidate who best represents our values and how we feel about the issues that are important in our country.

We all have seen the dishonest attempts by Mitt Romney and the talk show hosts to mislead the American people into believing that Mike Huckabee has dropped out of the race, or that he stands no chance of winning the election. Neither lie could be further from the truth. If you have not made up your mind about whom you will be voting for, I urge you to consider Mike Huckabee. He is strongly pro-life, strongly pro-2nd ammendment, and most of all, strongly pro-American. He wants to see us all rise above the partisan politics that have crippled Washington for so long and to be able to confront the problems we face as a country.

So, please, go vote today, no matter what state you live in. If there is a primary today, you need to go vote. It is your duty and most importantly, your right. I hope you will vote for Mike Huckabee, but you need to vote, period. As my friend Wickle said:

Vote your conscience and your values. Living in New Hampshire, I have already, proudly and happily, cast my vote for Mike Huckabee. However the primary race turns out, I have no regrets for what I did. Make sure that you will feel the same way.

Don’t let anyone tell you how you should cast your vote. Make up your own mind.

Well said, Wickle.

That’s my take!
