The real purpose of Romney’s endorsement of McCain
I suppose this is old news by now, but Mitt Romney came out and endorsed John McCain for the Republican nomination yesterday. Of course, as he did in his “concession” speech at CPAC, Romney made it sound like he is doing this for the good of the party and the good of the country, but to me, it is just one more flip-flop to add to his growing total of flip-flops.
Can anyone remember, not too many days ago, how Romney and McCain were going after each other in the debates? They acted and sounded like a couple of schoolyard bullies, trying to get the last word in on each other. Romney was touting his conservative credentials (according to him, at least) and how McCain was not a conservative. Now, he comes out and says McCain is a true conservative? Come on now, give me a break. How one man can change his position so many times on so many different issues is beyond me.
So many times lately, Mike Huckabee has been asked the question, “are you running for Vice-President?”. Time and again, he has answered the question the same way, “no, I am not”. He has repeatedly stated his purpose for staying in the race was to give the people a voice and a choice and also because his supporters keep telling him to run on. If you want to look at a man who is really running for Vice-President, go find a picture of Mitt Romney and stare at it. That’s what he is up to, in my honest opinion. He is thinking about himself and only that. Trust me, if there is one thing about Mitt Romney I have learned throughout this campaign, it is this. He simply can not be trusted.
That’s my take!

Well, that and/or he is trying to pay his dues to the republican party so he can be “next in line” for the GOP coronation in 4 years.
