Still on the upward march, Huckabee is at 21% in Iowa
How many times have we seen a similar blog post or news article title, since Mike Huckabee announced his candidacy for President. This has been especially true since the Iowa straw poll, but it here it is again. Huckabee is still on the move.
According to the latest CBS/New York Times poll, Mike Huckabee is in second place in Iowa with 21%.
Romney 27%
Huckabee 21%
Giuliani 15%
Thompson 9%
Paul 4%
McCain 4%
Tancredo 3%
Hunter 2%
Undecided 14%
This is very good news. With less than two months to go, Huckabee is within striking distance of Romney and I fully expect him to win the Iowa caucuses. Keep your eyes peeled, because Mike Huckabee is ready to take the lead.
That’s my take!

I really would not be suprised if Huckabee takes Iowa. What should be encouraguing fir his supports is his numbers coupled with the fact there has been very little advertisement for him…
He should place well in Iowa whether or not he wins. The question is will it translate into campaign dollars so that he can compete in the bigger states. With all the states jockeying for primary position there will not be a lot of time to raise money to compete in the bigger states that have decided to vote early.
