Proof of Barack Obama’s early tendencies towards socialism and racism
On October 14, we were able to watch the video of Barack Obama being questioned by Joe the plumber in Ohio and thought we were seeing the first time Obama’s socialist tendencies had reared their ugly head. It turns out that isn’t the case.
In 1995, Eye On Books interviewed Obama about his new book, Dreams From My Father, and the interview contains some very damming evidence that as far back as thirteen years ago, he was already leaning in the direction of socialism. The interview also reveals how he feels about race in America. Rush Limbaugh has a partial quote, as well as a transcript of the program he did on the interview, on his website, but the full quote below is from a pdf transcript from Eye On Books.
EOB: I’m wondering if the ethnically-mixed couple of today, if when their child is thirty-four years old, if they’ll find it any easier to deal with these issues than you have found it?
Obama: That’s an interesting question. I’m not sure. I think in some ways there’s less novelty to the idea of mixed couples. They’re not seen as lurid or perverse in ways that I think they were thirty years ago. I think that this country is inevitably going to be undergoing changes simply due to demographics. There’s been a lot of talk about the “browning of America” …and I think that is going to be happening. We can’t ignore it. I think whether or not my children or your children will have to struggle with these same issues depends on what we do, and whether we take some mutual responsibility for bridging the divisions that exist right now. And I really want to emphasize the word “responsibility.” I think that whether you are a white executive living out in the suburbs, who doesn’t want to pay taxes to inner-city children for them to go to school, or you’re an inner-city child who doesn’t want to take responsibility for keeping your street safe and clean, both of those groups have to take some responsibility if we’re going to get beyond the kinds of divisions that we face right now.
I really want to ask Obama a question. Why is it that some African-Americans seem to be always ready to believe that white people do not want to help black people? Also, why is it that he compares Bosnia to Los Angeles?
These days – because, I think, of the problems that African-Americans face in this country – we tend to have a sanitized view in the African-American community about what is going on in Africa. And the truth of the matter is that many of the problems that Africa faces, whether it’s poverty, or political suppression, or ethnic conflict, is [sic] just as prominent there, and can’t all be blamed on the effects of colonialism. What it can be blamed on is some of the common factors that affect Bosnia or Los Angeles or all kinds of places on this earth, and that is the tendency for one group to try to suppress another group in the interest of power or greed or resources or what have you.
I think Senator Obama needs to go back and check his history book. Bosnia is a place where genocide took place between two different genetically white groups of people. What does that have to do with Los Angeles? Does he really believe racism is so prevalent in our country that the whites are trying to get rid of the blacks? I understand there are some people in our country who are racist. I am not so naive to believe otherwise. However, with Barack Obama’s habit of wanting to tax the rich to give to those who are not rich, who knows what he will attempt to do, if he wins this election.
I am sure some people will probably think I am just spreading fear, hate, and discontent against the one person our country needs to lead us into a new era. However, this is not fear, hate, or discontent, but rather it is the truth about a man who is running for President, who has not disclosed his full background, and whom the media has refused to investigate even as much as they investigated a simple man from Ohio who dared to ask Obama a question that backed him into a corner and forced him to reveal how he feels about spreading the wealth.
Despite what the media would have us believe, there is more to Barack Obama than meets the eye and certainly more than he has ever been willing to disclose. He simply doesn’t want us to learn more than he wishes to disclose about his background. Why, you may ask? It’s simple. Obama knows one thing. If we, the American people, are able to learn about the kind of man he really is, then most of us will probably realize how much we do not need him as our President. That will translate into votes for John McCain and will probably cost him the election on November 4. That is something he has no intention of happening, no matter what he has to hide from you and me.
That’s my take!

Yes, there are things about the Illinois senator we should definitely know, but they seem to remain hidden from view. How did he rise so quickly, and what about the associations he has, or even had, with people of questionable character. There’s lots of questions, but not enough answers.
Larry, I believe Americans by the score care nothing for Senator Obama’s dangerous policies or ideals, they just hate President Bush and are voting color instead of on principles. What a shame!
