PBS All-American Presidential Forums
PBS will be hosting a debate for the Republican Presidential candidates Thursday night, at 8:00 PM CST. It will be broadcast on your local PBS station and can also be viewed online. It is interesting, once again, that the so called front runners or top-tier candidates have chosen not to take part, citing scheduling conflicts. You have to wonder how many times they can do this and get away with it. It will be hosted at a historically black college in Baltimore. Surely, they should be able to see how important it is to take part in a forum such as this. I was glad when the Values Voter Debate was held because it addressed some of the issues I hold dear. By the same token, this debate is just as important because it will focus on issues minority voters hold dear. I know Mike Huckabee will be there and I am expecting him to shine here, as he as in the rest of the debates. Please plan to watch the debate, if you can. I know I will be watching.
That’s my take!

Yes, Gov. Huckabee will be there, and I’m sure that he’s going to shine. I wonder whether the “top-tier” guys won’t show up because he is there. They’ve been outmatched at previous debates, and have got to realize that when they run the show, they look better than when they get shown for the phonies they are by their betters.
They certainly have been outmatched. No candidate has been able to articulate the issues like Mike.
