Huckabee is not finished–The time is now

Even before Mike Huckabee finished fourth in the Florida primary, some people had already written him off, namely Sean Hannity and the other so-called conservative talk show hosts. Even with Huckabee campaigning every day in Florida, Hannity still continued to say he was leaving Florida. We all know that wasn’t true and while Huckabee didn’t finish as high as I hoped he would, his campaign is far from over. Consider this.

Rudy Guiliani was the national front runner for a long time. A lot of people thought he had it wrapped up, but after a third place finish in the Florida primary, Rudy is dropping out and will probably endorse John McCain. Huckabee, on the other hand, is still in the race (very much so), even though people keep trying to write him off. In about a week, twenty-two states are going to cast their votes in the Presidential primary, including my home state of Oklahoma, and Mike Huckabee has a very good chance of winning several of those states.

The election is into the “get as many delegates as you can” phase now. Huckabee was in second place before the Florida primary and even with not winning any delegates yesterday, he is in a very good position to win enough delegates on Super Tuesday to go to the convention in very good shape. We will just have to see how it all plays out. In just a week, we will know where he stands. I still think people like Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh are in for the biggest surprise of their lives.

That’s my take!

  1. Would Giuliani have quit if Romney had won in Florida? The answer to that question would be “no” in my assessment. Giuliani would have told everybody he has a better chance in beating Romney then McCain has had. And he would have told people, go vote for me on Supertuesday. That means Huckabee can tell everybody the same thing now: Rommney can’t beat McCain, I have a much better chance of delivering a victory against McCain, especially in states like Missouri and Georgia. So, off course Romney will stay in the race, he got the money. The only thing he will accomplish is the frustration of grassroot republican activists, which he has done in every state so far.

The only two things that are standing between HUCK and Nomination is his Lack of funds and Biased Media.

He could not get his message delivered in the key states like NY, CA simply because of lack of funds. The media is trying to write him off, simply to project Romney as the only conservative choice. They will learn the lesson on tuesday.
Huck is going to win in atleast 5 states.
