		<description>While it is certain that Reagan&#039;s deregulation had something to do with this, there is more to the story. Some Republicans, John McCain if particular, tried to push legislation through Congress that would have curbed some of the actions that caused the recent meltdown. Barney Frank and company shot it down and prevented it&#039;s passage. As I said, both parties share in the blame.</description>
