Not that it has anything to do with Larry’s post, gasdocpol, but I’d love to know what evolution has to do with the Presidency.

Great post, Larry. I think you’re right … this is something I do actually like about McCain, he doesn’t subscribe to the idea that it’s okay to run a giant smear job as a campaign. He called foul on the Swift Boat Veterans for “Truth,” and now he’s calling out the NC Republicans for their ad.

Huckebee has some good points and his religion has had a good efect on him.

He does lack foreign experience and I have a problem with his not believing in evolution . It is not as if it were incompatable with Christianity. His notions of science are of middle age vintage and science is much too important now.
