For months, some of the people who have believed Barack Obama is not the man he portrays himself to be have been accusing him of being a socialist. He has denied this, of course, but we have maintained that his economic policies are the proof that show him to be otherwise. Over the weekend, Barack Obama was faced with a small business owner, a plumber who asked him some pretty tough questions and the truth be known, he is probably kicking himself right now for letting himself slip and answer the way he did. Barack Obama told a tax-burdened plumber over the weekend that his economic philosophy is to “spread the wealth around” — a comment that may only draw fire from riled-up John McCain supporters who have taken to calling Obama a “socialist” at the Republican’s rallies.

Obama made the remark, caught on camera, after fielding some tough questions from the plumber Sunday in Ohio, where the Democratic candidate canvassed neighborhoods and encouraged residents to vote early.

“Your new tax plan is going to tax me more, isn’t it?” the plumber asked, complaining that he was being taxed “more and more for fulfilling the American dream.”

“It’s not that I want to punish your success. I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they’ve got a chance for success too,” Obama responded. “My attitude is that if the economy’s good for folks from the bottom up, it’s gonna be good for everybody … I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.”

Just in case you are wondering what the term socialist really means, here is a quote from Wikipedia.

Socialists mainly share the belief that capitalism unfairly concentrates power and wealth into a small section of society who control capital, and creates an unequal society. All socialists advocate the creation of an egalitarian society, in which wealth and power are distributed more evenly, although there is considerable disagreement among socialists over how, and to what extent this could be achieved.

Time after time, Barack Obama has flopped like a fish out of water, trying his best to keep his true agenda hidden, trying to keep the real person behind the flowing words from raising his ugly head, but this time, he is condemned by his own words. The Bible says in St. Luke 6:45:

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

How much more evidence do we need to know that the Senator from Illinois is not the man we need in the White House?
