A fired up Mike Huckabee calls for a debate in Ohio
Are you still hearing all the news media telling you the Republican race for the presidential nomination is over? I am and if you are like me, you are sick and tired of hearing the same old song and dance about the math. Not only am I tired of it, I believe Mike Huckabee is as well. The YouTube clip below is from a Columbus, Ohio rally on Tuesday, February 26 and Mike Huckabee is fired up.
In his speech, he asks a very simple question to the news media. If the race for the nomination is over, then why are none of the delegate counts from the networks matching. He says it’s because it isn’t a sure thing and they don’t have it figured out either. He also points out that the Democrats have had a chance to air the difference in views between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, so why not let the Republicans have the same chance. You know, Huckabee has a good point. It’s too bad the news media and the Republican party are ignoring it and are insisting the race is over. I have a feeling they are in for a big surprise on March 4.

I say debate. If McCain is the ‘presumptive nominee’ then he has nothing to be afraid of. A debate offers him a chance to get his views out there. Problem is he is afraid. He knows that if he goes one on one with Huckabee he will look like an old, stuttering liberal.
Huckabee knows that McCain is by no means a sure thing. He knows that his stands are were the Republican party needs to be to succeed. If he is successful in winning a lot of states but fails to win the nomination all we will have gained is a McCain who knows were we stand and who knows he will need our respet to succeed.
I, for one, am glad that Mike is ‘fired’ up. His supporters have been fired up for quite some time now and the feeling in Texas is that it has ignited a huge fireball! It is time that Americans take back the election process. We want an election that is run with honor and integrity as well as character. Sadly, in this election cycle, that can only be said of one canidate and that is Mike Huckabee.
Please pray to the Lord for a miracle – remember God is in the Miracle Making Business to allow Mike Huckabee to become our US President. Now wouldn’t that be an almost unbelievable testament in the power of our Almighty Lord!
