Autopsy results as well as other information have come out in the past few days that paint a different story from the one being promoted in much of the media. I’ll summarize quickly but give you the links for more details.

First, prior to the shooting of Michael Brown, the teen is acknowledged to have committed a strong arm robbery at a convenience store where he stole Swisher Sweets, a cigar product used to make marijuana “blunt.” Brown who was 6’5″ tall and over 200 pounds is shown to be physically threatening and pushing the store clerk. Autopsy results released today show marijuana is Brown’s system.

Autopsy results also show Brown was shot from the front, not from the back and suggest that he did not have his hands in the air to surrender. Story from Dorian Johnson, Brown’s accomplice in the store robbery is not supported by this information. The media ran with stories from Johnson and created the false impression that Brown had surrendered when he was shot.

Instead, we learn later that one witness to the shooting made a video live at the scene and describes how Brown was rushing the officer.

So, Brown was NOT surrendering, NOT shot in the back, most likely high on pot. But that’s not the story many on the left want you to hear.

Meanwhile, the looting, violence and vandalism continues as racebaiters and communists use the incident to promote their agenda. Some Ferguson citizens have rallied to the defense of the Police Officer involved, but you aren’t likely to hear their voice in the national media.

Finally, Attorney General Eric Holder is heading to Ferguson. No doubt his visit will be followed by a Democrat Party voter registration drive. This isn’t about justice for Michael Brown. It’s about using his killing to stoke racial division in the run up to the November election!

All that remains is for Bobby Rush to go to the podium of the House of Representatives and give a theatrical impersonation of the deceased Michael Brown, as he did Trayvon Martin

  • Yeah, the narrative is falling apart but that won’t matter because as you said, this is no longer an issue about the death of Michael Brown or of getting to the truth. This is all about using the issue for political purposes and that is sad.

  • I’m glad you wrote this post. I’ve thought about doing it myself, but haven’t felt like wading into the mud.

The travesty of this entire situation is how the rule of law was given no chance to work. Even if the shooting turns out to be completely unjustified, there is no excuse for what we have seen unfolding in Ferguson. I say again, the law was not given the opportunity to do its job. Our country will suffer the consequences of allowing that to happen.

    • LD: I wonder if it is possible that if the Police had gotten out some of the background and witness info quicker if that would have helped defuse the situation. I have doubts as there are many here who don’t really care what the truth is.

      • Far too many people are in the category of not caring what the truth is. That’s why this situation has deteriorated to the degree it has. Even if the police had released more information, the race baiters and their friends in the media would probably have conveniently ignored that information and went merrily down the same path.

  • It seems to me that any evidence that goes against the claims that Brown was murdered will be ignored by those who want the officer charged with murder. This is yet another incident being used by the real racists in the country to stir up racial divide while they fill their wallets. The looters and protesters are being used and are too stupid to realize it.
And Larry, I like the new look!

    • Thanks, Charles. I was trying to make it simpler. I removed all the Google ads because I was receiving very little from them. I think it looks good and it certainly loads much faster.

a black man shot and killed by a white policeman; six days of peaceful protest slash rioting and looting equals

of the powers that be. this little kerfuffle is nothing comped to watts in ’65; i lived through that one…

mr. johnson didn’t bother to hold a presser; but he did engage in a private tete~ a~ tete with mr. king to brain-storm
the ways they could make political ‘hay’ vis~a~vis mr. hay’s misfortune. thanks to the foia we can hear their conversation:

the watts ‘event’ took 34 lives and injured 1000; ferguson is decidedly ‘small ball’. there is no better witness to that than our president admonishing both sides that they “mustn’t holler at each other”.
    how’s that work’n out so far…b
